Logitech is a brand that has been long associated with sim racing. Stretching back well over a decade, Logitech has released some of the most popular budget-friendly sim racing wheels. My very first racing wheel was a Logitech wheel, and many sim racers will say the same thing.
In this guide, I’ll look at the products that Logitech currently offer, and I’ll show you how to find the best Logitech sim racing deals and get the G923 racing wheel for the lowest price.
What sim racing products do Logitech sell?
For a long time, Logitech only sold budget-friendly and entry-level racing wheels. They had success with the G25, the G27 and then the G29. Each of these wheels was newer than its predecessor and offered improved force feedback and an updated external design.
The most recent iteration of Logitech’s budget racing wheel is the G923. Recently, Logitech has also branched out into the more premium side of sim racing peripherals with the launch of its Pro Racing range.
The Logitech Pro Racing wheel offers sim racers access to direct drive technology which leads to a much more immersive and realistic sim racing experience, paired with the fantastic Logitech design and build quality. The Logitech Pro Racing Wheel and Pro Pedals aren’t cheap, but they do give sim racers the choice of a much more premium Logitech sim racing offering that we’ve never had before.
Logitech’s current ecosystem includes both the entry-level G923 racing wheel and the Pro Racing Wheel giving sim racers a good choice on the style of racing wheel and pedals they wish to use.

Is the G923 or G29 better?
In August 2020, Logitech updated the G29 racing wheel with the G923. This new wheel featured a design that was almost identical to the G29, however Logitech improved a few features. They tweaked the internal force feedback, enhanced the brake pedal to be much stiffer than before, and added a new technology called TrueForce.
TrueForce was the real game changer when comparing the G29 and G923 racing wheels. It utilised in-game audio and translated that into a vibration that can be felt through the steering wheel. As you rev your car, you can feel the revs increasing as the vibrations in the steering wheel intensify.
This feature was added to improve the overall immersion when racing with a Logitech G923 racing wheel. By letting the driver feel the car’s engine directly, you get a second level of feedback while racing.
For this reason, the Logitech G923 is a better racing wheel than the older G29, despite the core force feedback not being tweaked too much. As I mentioned just now, Logitech also improved the brake pedal when updating the G923. The new brake pedal features much stiffer springs and elastomers than the pedal found on the G29 pedal set. This makes braking feel much more realistic as there is now a lot more resistance.
Which is better Logitech G29 or G920?
Ultimately, both the Logitech G29 and G920 are practically the same racing wheel. The G29 has a slightly different appearance to the G920 with a few extra inputs and rev lights. This is because the Logitech G920 is Xbox compatible and Xbox consoles didn’t support these extra inputs at the time of release. So Logitech decided to strip these inputs away from the G920.
Internally, both racing wheels are identical and produce almost identical force feedback. This means that your overall experience with both the G29 and G920 will be incredibly similar. If you are buying either the Logitech G29 or G920 to race on a PC and do not require console compatibility, I’d always suggest opting for the G29. This is because the G29 has the extra inputs and rev lights that can be used when racing on PC.
Where to buy Logitech racing wheels
Logitech sim racing products are available from a few places. The best place to purchase a Logitech racing wheel such as the G923 is often their own Logitech G website. They offer worldwide shipping and every product comes with the manufacturer’s warranty just in case anything goes wrong.
An alternate reseller for Logitech sim racing products that can sometimes be cheaper than Logitech directly is Amazon. If you are shopping for an older Logitech racing wheel like the G29 or G920, you will often be able to find it cheaper than if you were to buy directly from Logitech.
I would always recommend checking Amazon to see if you can beat the RRP set by Logitech. However, if both prices are the same, I would normally recommend purchasing directly from Logitech. They have distribution globally meaning delivery is generally quick and it is free on all of their sim racing products, as are returns.
Reseller | Location |

Logitech EU | Logitech’s European store |
Logitech US | Logitech’s United States store |
Amazon | Often the best place to find the lowest prices |
Where to find Logitech sim racing deals
Logitech is probably the easiest sim racing brand to find deals for. They don’t have a huge product lineup, currently consisting of just three different racing wheels. On Logitech’s own website, you can often find site-wide deals that can include various discounts when you spend a certain amount on products.
For example, over the winter period, Logitech ran a promotion that lets you get £50/$50 off of a $300 spend. This style of deal isn’t always available and can change throughout the year.
Alternatively, Amazon is a Logitech reseller where their sim racing products can often be purchased below the RRP. This is especially the case if you are looking to buy a complete Logitech sim racing bundle or an older racing wheel such as the Logitech G923 or G29.
Cheap Logitech racing wheel deals
Below are the most recent sim racing deals from Logitech. It is fairly common to find various Logitech sim racing products at a discounted price. Older racing wheels such as the Logitech G29 and G920 are often available at prices below RRP from various resellers including Amazon and Logitech itself.
You can view all Logitech discounts and deals by checking out our Logitech sim racing deals page.
Frequently asked questions
Below are a few common questions that we get asked about Logitech racing wheels.
Which Logitech racing wheel is better?
Due to sheer performance, the Logitech Pro Racing wheel is the best you can currently buy. However, if you’re shopping for a budget Logitech racing wheel, the G923 is the best current option.
Does the Logitech G29 feel like a real wheel?
The Logitech G29 racing wheel is a budget-friendly sim racing wheel, meaning it doesn’t offer the most realistic sim racing experience. If you are looking for a realistic feel from your racing wheel, I would suggest considering the more premium Logitech Pro Racing Wheel.
What is the lowest price of a Logitech G29?
The Logitech G29 can be purchased for relatively cheap prices due to it being a rather old racing wheel. The official RRP on Logitech’s website is £349.99 / $349.99 however, you can often find the lowest price over £/$100 cheaper than this either on Logitech’s website or Amazon.
